Where are these soaps made?
Our soaps are made at the Awaida family workshop in Tripoli, Lebanon. U.S. orders are fulfilled from stock in Boston.
Are all the soaps unscented?
No. Traditional olive oil soap has no added fragrance. Many other products are perfumed; check the individual description and ingredients.
How do I choose between olive oil and glycerine soap?
Our olive oil bars have a creamy, low-bubble lather and a dense, opaque texture. Choose them if you enjoy a rich, creamy wash, with unscented and scented options available.
Our glycerine bars, made with castor and coconut oils, offer a bubblier lather and a smooth, slippery feel. Glycerine helps attract and hold moisture, which can help skin feel soft after washing.
Both cleanse effectively—the choice comes down to whether you prefer olive oil’s creamy lather or the bubblier feel of our glycerine bars.
