Our Story

Since 1880
Five generations of soapmakers, rooted in Tripoli.
We make soap slowly, traditionally, and with the same core ingredients our family has used for over 140 years.

Our process
Hand Mixed
Each batch is slowly blended by hand over low heat for up to three days, allowing the soap to form gradually and evenly. Small-batch mixing gives soap makers direct control over texture and moisture, helping preserve the natural qualities of olive oil. The result is a dense, long-lasting bar.
Stone Cast
The finished soap is poured onto stone floors where it naturally sets as temperature and moisture are regulated by the environment. This slow hardening helps prevent cracking and creates a consistent internal structure. The method has been used for generations because it is simple and reliable.
Individually Stamped
Each bar is stamped by hand using engraved tools and a mallet. This marks the soap with the maker’s seal and helps identify the batch and origin. Because it’s done manually, slight variations in depth and placement are normal.
Hand Cut
Large slabs are cut into bars using a multi-blade rake cutter operated by a team to maintain even pressure. This manual method helps avoid internal fractures that can occur with automated cutting. It preserves the density developed during curing.
Air Cured
Bars are stacked in open-air curing rooms where they slowly lose moisture over several weeks. This natural drying process hardens the soap without chemical accelerants. The result is a longer-lasting bar with a more stable, skin-friendly pH.
Hand Finished
Each bar is inspected, trimmed, and smoothed by hand before packaging. Only properly cured bars are wrapped and shipped. This ensures consistency while preserving the natural character of handmade soap.
